The delegates of DAHR and MIÉRT met the representativesof the Embassy of People’s Republic of China in Romania on Monday, 21st October in Bucharest. During the discussion they presented the New Silk Route Economic Area as well as the initiative regarding the 21st Century Maritime Silk Route strategy, which had been announced separately by President Xi Jinping in September and October 2013.
During the meeting the delegates of DAHR and MIÉRT spoke about the cooperation between China and Europe, the economic activities as well as the youth’s opportunities.
“These meetings are important because we must also think outside Europe and thus we can get to know the economy and the youth activities in more developed, which we can make use of here at home.” – said LórántAntal, President of MIÉRT at the end of the meeting.
