MIÉRT national delegates’ meeting for the election of officials will take place between March 20-22, 2015 in Oradea and in Băile 1 Mai. The National Delegates’ Meeting is the supreme decision-making body of the Hungarian Youth Council of Romania, which is convened every year to review the annual report of MIÉRT and its member organisations and to establish the organisation’s objectives and activity plan for the following period.
„The Hungarian Youth Council of Romania has arrived again to a turning-point and as the outgoing President I am proud to host such an important event” – highlighted József Szabó, then he added: „candidates for the position of President have to send their candidate files by March 6th to the official e-mail address of MIÉRT. Conditions for candidacy include submission of the candidate’s program by this date, proof of support by at least two member organisations and last but not least, for fulfilling the mandate, succeeding to win the support of the majority at the delegates’ meeting in Oradea”.
Following the opening and the works of the delegates’ meeting, the election of the new president and the board will become the centre of attention. Further on, keeping the tradition, the handing over of Pro Organizatione award of MIÉRT will follow. The Hungarian Youth Council of Romania gives award every year to remarkable persons who by their persevering and devoted work contributed to the development of the organisation.
