The initiative called Be a volunteer for one day! organized by the Hungarian Youth Council of Romania drew the attention on the importance of volunteering. 39 young participants took part in 12 different programmes of the event organized in Cluj-Napoca.

The participants took part in focused discussions and free debate on the event organised between 13-24 August 2015. The aim of the programme was to inform the youth aged 14-35and motivate them to volunteer.

During the discussions the speakers highlighted the importance of volunteering, shared personal experiences, and informed the young about how they can become volunteers. Further on exchange students presented the Erasmus programme, encouraged the participantsto dare have a go at such adventures. The roundtable discussion was held in the topic What requirements should a civil organization meet in 2015? and the young people had the opportunity to try their hand at volunteering.
